HosHostel Bambu Puerto Iguazu is the ideal stop-off when you’re visiting the world’s biggest waterfalls on your journey around South America. We’ve got on-the-ball staff to help you plan your journey to both the Brazilian and Argentinian sides of the falls. Back ‘home’, head to our outdoor bar where you can relive the trip over a chilled beer. With more than ten years of experience running our hostel, we know traveller-favourite freebies like breakfast, linen, city maps and Wi-Fi all make sure your stay goes swimmingly. Yes, all free!
Whether you pick a private room or a dorm (we’ve got both mixed and female-only to choose from), you’ll have heating when it’s chilly and air con when it’s hot. Our bunks are lovely and big, plus each has a locker and universal sockets so you can easily charge your camera for those multiple shots of the waterfalls. Some rooms and dorms have en-suite bathrooms.
We’re just a couple of blocks from the Puerto Iguazú bus terminal – where you can jump on a bus to reach the falls – and walking distance from supermarkets, bars and restaurants. You’ll need to stop at the border to go through immigration when you’re heading to the Brazilian part of the national park. If you’re getting to us from Cataratas del Iguazú International Airport (on the Argentinian side of Iguazú) you can book onto the Four Tourist Travel shuttle. It’s about a 30-minute drive to the hostel.
